NDLEA drops disputed Requirement for visa clearance for married women
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has announced a review of its visa clearance procedures. A requirement which mandated married women to submit an approval letter from their husbands as part of the visa application sparked widespread debate on social media on Wednesday.
Several people criticized this policy as being discriminatory and outdated and the backlash led to the removal of items from the lists.
Eritrean Cyclists Make Waves In African Cyclist Championship
Eritrean cyclists have achieved remarkable success at the 2024 African Cycling Championship, currently taking place in Eldoret, Kenya. Eritrean cyclists secured three medals. Autopsy Reveals Cause of Death of Mombasa Taxi Driver
