Sickle cell patients face insecurity in Nigeria

Patients in Nigeria diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease face discrimination. Journalist Maimuna Muhammad Babangida visits a government-owned hospital in Minna during the weekly Sickle Cell Clinical Day. She speaks with Dr Aisha Musa, consultant Paediatrician and SCD warrior Kubrah Mundi who set up an SCD foundation ” Lafiya Sickle Cell Foundation ” to create awareness of the devastating effect of the disorder.
