Gender descrimination still a manace in Kenyan politics

Mercy Kibe explores how gender discrimination is still a major obstacle women face to get into political seats. Women are still marginalized from political and public life. Though women are putting themselves forward for elections more and more, their numbers are still far behind as they face structural, socioeconomic, institutional and cultural barriers.
