Happy World Photography Day!!!

Happy World Photography Day!!!

Since 1823 when Joseph Nicéphore Niépce took the first photograph with a camera, the world has come a long way from there. From analogue cameras, the use of the original light-rooms and now the digital age, with our fast paced world, fast shutter-speed and now digital light-rooms, photography has truly evolved and with it Photojournalism.

Women, and especially African women are not left out in making their marks on the photography field and changing the African Image to the world one photograph at a time, from Sarah Waisa, Miora Rajaonary to Ngadi Smart and a host of other amazing women out there.

To celebrate all our amazing female photojournalists out there, we at AWiM have something special packed for you.
