Opportunity: Journalism Grants

Deadline: 18 September 2020

As part of the Investigative Journalism for Europe Fund (IJ4EU), the EJC is providing grants of up to €10,000 for teams of freelance journalists/news organisations who need additional financial support to finalise and publish cross-border investigations that are already in progress. The scheme is open to any team composition and investigations in any format (text, documentary, audio etc) are eligible.

The grants can be used to cover salary and human resource costs, research-related costs, translation, and travel costs – essentially, any production or reporting costs that are associated with finalising and publishing an investigation.

The full criteria is available on the IJ4EU website and in the FAQ page. For questions or additional information before applying, prospective applicants can get in touch with us by emailing publicationsupport@ejc.net. The deadline to apply is 18 September 2020.
