Rest in Peace Hodan Nalayeh: Her Story in Her Own Words

Hodan Nalayeh was the founder of Integration TV, a platform she set up so that she can change the narrative of Somalia in the news. She was killed in an Al-Shabaab bombing today, alongside her husband, and leaves behind two children.

I was fortunate to interview Hodan in March for our podcast Her Media Diary. She spoke to me about being a media entrepreneur, investing in yourself, and changing narratives about Africa and about African women.
