Towards ensuring gender inclusiveness in the media

Mass Communication expert Dr Muhammad Dantala Aliyu gives an overview of the current status of women in the media and how they have been given equal rights despite some challenges. We also hear from Maimuna Raji Egigogo a practising Journalist and Aisha Shuaibu Badeggi, the General Manager Badeggi FM Minna who share some of the challenges women leaders of media organisations are facing. The three women call for the active participation of all women in the media to ensure peace and security in Nigeria.
