Emmanuella Wvemnyuy
Emmanuella Wvemnyuy is a broadcast journalist with the Cameroon Radio Television. A reporter and tv newscaster for 7 years. Emmanuella is also a blogger passionate about stories on the environment, the less privileged, culture and health.
I am a 2021 Fellow of the United Nations Reham Al-Fara Memorial Fellowship and a Climate Tracker trainee. They covered the first ever digital Global Landscapes Forum on How to Regreen Africa's Drylands in 2021.
I am due to attend the Sputnik School of young African journalists in October this year. A weeklong training in Russia will focus on creating compelling media content. My greatest desire is to tell African development stories to the rest of the world and make them see the actual worth of a continent misrepresented over time.
The AWiM/UNEP opportunity was timely, and I feel honoured to have been part of this opportunity and looking for more of such in future.
